Professor Eric Wickstrom is widely recognized as a world leader in oligonucleotide diagnostics, delivery and therapeutics targeted to various cancers. He is currently the professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and holds a joint appointment Microbiology and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University, U.S.A .And also a member of the Kimmel Cancer Center, Philadelphia. He serves on editorial boards for Bioconjugate Chemistry and Biotechnology Health Care.
His group specializes in PNA organic synthesis, cancer specific oligonucleotides and control of infections on medicinal implants. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, American Chemical Society and Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society, and is a reviewer for NIH, FDA, DOE, NSF and Cancer Research (UK) grants. He has authored more than 150 publications spanning the areas of molecular oncology, recombinant proteins, gene therapy and radionuclide imaging . Professor Wickstrom obtained his Ph.D from University of California, Berkeley and B.S from Caltech.
Dr.David C. Swan, Ph.D
Dr.David Swan is qualified biochemist and is working currently as a Research Geneticist in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S.A. He has worked in academic infectious disease research for more than 30 years, first obtaining a PhD at Georg-August-University, Gouttingen, Germany and subsequently performing postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health, U.S.A.
He has significant experience in human papillomavirus & cancer and has published over 70 publications. He was previously a visiting scientist at the National Cancer Institute, U.S.A. He currently holds an adjunct professor position at Emory University School of Medicine and University of North Carolina .
Prof.Pascal Dumy
Dr.Dumy is currently director for the department of Chemistry and professor of Molecular Engineering and Bioorganic laboratory at the University of Joseph Fourier , France . Dr. Dumy is the author of over 100 scientific research articles and patents. His research interests includes Chemistry of biomolecules (peptides, nucleic acids, oligosaccharides), non-viral vector for biomolecules vectorisation and in vivo targeting, molecular imaging, tumor neo-angiogenesis, synthetic vaccines, surface functionalisation and the use of biomolecules in nanosciences.
He has been appointed as an expert committee by the French ministry of science and technology. He received his Ph.D from University Montpellier, France and was a Postdoc at University of Lausanne , Switzerland .
Dr.Davide Mouri, Ph.D
Dr.Davide Mouri works as Director of operations and manufacturing at Med Discovery, Switzerland. Prior to joining to Med Discovery he held Chief Scientific officer at Apotech Corporation. Dr. Davide was responsible for several customer relationships in antibodies development, covering a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
His current responsibilities include managing relations with outsourcing partners for proprietary anti-cancer compounds, GMP Manufacturing and Pre-Clinical Testing. He has a rich experience in emerging technologies in biosciences. Dr.Davide received Ph.D in immunology from the University of Bern and was a Postdoc at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology in San Diego, California. He also received a masters in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MoT) from the Swiss Federal institute of Technology (EPFL).
